Our Services

​

Our programs reflect the diverse nature of our community. We are committed to developing programs and hosting events that will power our community to move forward and succeed, such as, Independence Day and year-end celebrations and fundraising for development projects in Zambia.

 

Clothing drive

​

The ZFFA is committed to contributing towards community development initiatives, and recently organised a clothing drive for warm clothing for the Children’s sickle cell unit at UTH in Lusaka. Our community members and friends donated a variety of winter jackets and cloths. The donations were shipped to Zambia and will be handed over to the recipients by Mrs Patricia Chibanda, spouse to the former ambassador to Zambia, Mr Humphrey Chibanda.

Assistance Fund

​

There is an increasing demand in the Zambian community for the ZFFA to create an emergency support fund. This has come about due to difficulties some members encounter to travel home to burry a family member and the inability to assist them as a community. 

The ZFFA is in the process of drafting an assistance fund proposal for presentation at the next community general meeting.

The ZFFA organises and coordinates social events such as picnics, baby showers, and christmas parties to bring the community together and to offer networking opportunities.
