Zambian Independence Day Drawing competition for children:
The Zambian French Friendship Association (ZFFA) is very excited to organise a drawing competition to commemorate Zambia's 55th Independence Day anniversary.
Children between the ages of 3 and 14 can participate. All the paintings and drawings will appear on the ZFFA website.
How to participate
The theme of the competition is Zambia! The subject is large, so there is room for the children to dig into their imagination to sketch creative drawings that represent Zambia in different ways e.g. the map of Zambia, fauna and flora, a chitenge outfit…etc.
Winners
The art works will be divided into two competition categories according to the following age groups: 3-8 and 9-14. Winners will be selected from both categories.
There are fantastic prizes for the best drawings, but the main interest of this fun activity is to ignite national pride. We want the children to feel part of this special day!
The artwork can be submitted at the independence day get together and will be displayed at the Zambian Embassy during the event on Sunday 27th October!
Name and age should clearly appear on the front bottom right corner of the drawing.
